I began by crafting messages for small brands on social media. Joining VaynerMedia as a copywriter transitioned that experience into new territory.

The first half of my tenure entailed writing longer-form content strategies for Fortune 500 brands: mapping long-term messaging across social channels, answering RFPs and collaborating on pitch decks.

 

Our strategy always put social media first, with an emphasis on incorporating emerging tech and platforms to drive in-person experiences with consumers. Whether it was pushing Snapchat into an NFL practice, or leveraging check-ins to provide commuters a free protein bar, our digital tactics were firmly grounded in real-world activations.

In the latter half, I supervised junior copywriters as they produced a monthly batch of microcontent for publishing on brands' Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Examples of that type of work for which I served as the lead writer are below.
